Our homes tell a story. Sometimes a room that looks perfectly fine is still somehow off...and we can’t always put our finger on why.
Sound familiar? That’s what these workshops are here for.
One focused hour, once a month. A small group of women who care about their homes and are curious enough to do something about them. A topic that’s specific, useful, and immediately actionable.
And did I mention… it’s free.
A GATHERWELL WORKSHOP SERIES
WHAT IT ISThe Design Hour is a monthly workshop series hosted by Gatherwell - LKN. Each session focuses on one room, one project, one corner of your home — and gives you real guidance you can take home and use that same day.
These aren’t lectures. They’re working sessions. Small enough that there’s time for your specific questions. You’ll leave with something concrete. And you’ll do it alongside people who care about many of the same things you do—beauty, creating a supportive environment, and connecting with others in our local community.
That’s more than enough reason to show up.
COMING UPHere’s a look at some of what’s ahead…
JUNEYour entryway is either letting energy in or keeping it out. Discover how to tell the difference — and what to do about it in your home.
COMING UPLearn the layer-by-layer logic of great coffee table styling, and once you know the framework, you can make it yours in any room, season-by-season.
COMING UPYour home doesn’t stop at the front door. Let’s venture outside — garden design, planter styling, landscape lighting, and the spaces that bridge indoors and out.

FOUNDER, GATHERWELL + INTERIOR DESIGNER
I’ve been doing design for over 30 years. Not just talking about interiors, but teaching it and applying it as I walk through someone’s front door to see what their particular space needs, or sitting next to them as we chat about a photo of their living room and I help them see exactly what’s possible in their space.
For years, I taught eight-week-long Interior Design 101 classes to sold-out groups — color, texture, scale, and how to make it all work together. My four-week color workshop sold out in two days.
But here’s what I’ve learned since I first started teaching: most women don’t need more information. Rather, they need someone to look at their actual space and say, “Here’s what’s working, here’s what isn’t, and here’s what I recommend you do next.”
I’ve been told I’m good at making the non-obvious feel suddenly clear.
My clients know something isn’t working yet. Sometimes they can’t even name the problem. But I can.
And once they have the words for it, I can easily paint the picture of what’s needed and how they can get to a solution that works for them and their budget.
Creating a beautiful home isn’t a “repair job,” that’s what happens when we take our cars to the shop.
No, I work with my people in an act of co-creation — you bring your space, your instincts, and the way you live. I bring my history, insights, and ideas of what’s possible. And what we build together is something neither of us could have gotten to alone.
